A Leading Global Proprietary Trading House operating in a high frequency environment is seeking an experienced software developer to create their in house trading systems.
Responsibilities of a successful candidate will be working closely with quantitative traders in London, New York and Chicago, to troubleshoot and identify issues with trades as well as develop a method to analyze data sets. Debugging, monitoring and supporting any applications supporting trades on a Perl/Linux platform. Designing scalable code, optimizing extremely speed-sensitive focus to process large volumes of data.
Minimum qualification requirements are a Bachelors and/or Master's degree in computer science graded at a 1st. Candidates must have strong proven experience of Linux utilizing C and/or C++. Further expertise in either Python, Perl, Shell Scripting, AWK, MySQL and SED Scripting languages will be ideal. Candidates must show initiative and proven experience in a form of succe ssful project ownership.
