Personal Technical Support Specialist
Will relocate the right candidate. Will sponsor visa's.

Responsibilities:
-Enhance and maintain home and personal technology setups for key employees.
-Act as IT expert and vital support contact for Windows, Mac, and Linux-based PCs, Servers, and mobile devices, as well as for the network connecting these devices across locations and to the corporate network.
-Handle the maintenance and upgrade of various other systems and devices, including peripheral equipment (printers, cameras, scanners, and fax machines), audio/video (home theater), and home security and surveillance.
-Ensuring the security of personal devices and personal/corporate network, performing backups of critical data, and maintaining SharePoint and Domain instances.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's de gree in computer science or engineering from a top university with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
-Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux-based operating systems, and of Active Directory, Sharepoint, and SCOM.
-Familiarity with networking technologies including DHCP, DNS, ping, netstat, windump, and tcpdump is crucial, as is the ability to configure Juniper Firewall policies, Cisco Switches, FiOS and IPsec tunnels.
-Scripting and basic programming skills are also necessary.
-Enthusiastic and eager to learn with an aptitude to pick up new technologies quickly, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and must be reachable nights and weekends for urgent matters.
-As travel to various locations in the Northeast is required to modify, upgrade, and fix personal setups, a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is also required.
