Team Foundation Server Developer
We are looking for a Team Foundation Server (TFS) developer. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development with .NET and experience with multiple development methodologies. This role will take the templates built into TFS and customize them to fit the blended methodology of this environment. The candidate should have experience doing hands on development and be good at manipulating XML.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and customize the TFS Process Guidance Template
o Setup Work Item Types
o Change Work Item Type rules, transformation/workflows
o Configure and customize the Area and Iteration classification types
o Build custom TFS Policies for automating workflow, such as generate builds on deploy them to the Build Server/Controller
o Create custom TFS permission sets and assign them to custom TFS Roles
- Develop the Test Automation strategy
o Setup up and configure (including the infrastructure) for the Build Controller and Test Agents for each TFS Collection
- Develop the TFS Disaster Recovery Strategy
- Develop TFS Operational Strategy
o Propose the best way to implement operational request (ie creating new collections, projects, process guidance updates), updates and patches
- TFS Test Automation using TFS Test Manager and Lab Management tools
- Provide SDLC/TFS user training and workshops
- Release Management
o The candidate will act as gate-keeper for the application prod release cycle
o Insures the Companies Release Processes/Standards are reflected in the TFS Process Guidance Templates
- 2+ years experience with TFS
- 3-5+ years experience developing in a .NET environment
- 1-2+ years in a release management capacity
- Experience in multiple SDLC methodologies required - Agile , Waterfall, Test Driven etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Any lead experience would be considered a plus
