SolTech is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to be part of a team responsible for developing mobile/Embedded software for multiple location-based devices. This position will be involved in all phases of the product life cycle, from conception through field support. This is a contract position.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, code and perform unit and regression testing of Embedded applications starting from given requirements
- Ability to work in Qualcomm BREW environment
- Ability to work independently in a small team
- Troubleshoot Embedded software using ARM/JTAG debuggers and tools provided by BREW platform
- Work with compliance and certification laboratories to ensure software meets compliance standards
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field, with solid academi c record; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years experience with mobile and Embedded application development
- 2+ years experience in development of Embedded application in C for ARM processors
- Experience developing mobile applications in Qualcomm Brew technology
- Experience with GPS modules a plus
- Experience working with voice/dialer applications a plus
