A major Electronic Commerce Company, located in NYC, New York is seeking Developers with strong communication skills that are interested in gaining business exposure in addition to building his or her technical skill-set. Also, our client requires a high level of commitment and dedication from all our team members. As a Professional Services Software Engineer you will be working in a team to implement customers onto the SAAS Platform. You will be mainly responsible for the technical design of the project, managing project developers, assisting in complex development, and ensuring the code development meets and Industry best practices and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on project implementations with customers who desire integration to their existing supply chain computer systems
  • Technical design of client implementations
  • Programming, unit testing your code, and collaborating with the testing team for issue resolution
  • Parta king in face to face design and planning sessions with customers
  • Performing code reviews and providing technical guidance to team members
  • Rolling out customers' technical interfaces
  • Providing on-going customer technical support to existing customers
  • Working with other team members in accomplishing group objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant company standards and guidelines
Software Engineer Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
  • You must have 2-3 years of work experience with Java and JSP
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Desire for growth in business and technical skill-sets; with a focus on solution design
  • Strong team working, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity in ERP implementation, procurement, or supply chain systems knowledge will be a plus
  • Familiarity with ED I, XML transaction processing, and data mapping
  • Familiarity and an understanding of relational databases; writing; and debugging complex SQL statements
