This Consultant can work remote from a U.S. Western region. Travel is 80% across North America. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for current workflow analysis and development; documenting, planning, and implementation of future state workflow and customer training.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct current state workflow analysis
- Design future state workflow (including System Workflow and Department Process Workflow)
- Determine application optimization within the Department and provide the customer with 'Best Practice' methodologies
- Analyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training accordingly
- Develop training plans and documentation
- Coordinate and provide Super User application training
- Ensure that course completion certificates are supplied to customer sites in a timely manner
- Ensure that all Super Users are able to train customer End Users and unders tand any unique customer site requirements
- Provide Application Training and support to other staff from other groups as required
- Identify 'File and Follow-up Product Features' and issue requests during implementation
- Proactively be involved in change management processes related to implementations
- Working under tight timelines and conflicting schedules
- Managing multiple projects at one time
- Adapting and meeting the expectations of challenging customers
- Frequent, often 'short-notice' travel
- Travel is required throughout North America (at least 80% or more)
- Keeping current in a continually changing environment and technology (internally/externally) across different product lines
- Recommend Best Practices to Customer
- Recommend courses of action to resolve implementation issues
- Identify and implement improvements to Implementatio n Process
- Identify improvements to Product
- Identify opportunities for further Team education and growth
- Identification and awareness of the comp
- 4+ years of experience with a clinical/healthcare field, computer applications, or business analysis
- RCIS, RN, or RTR with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience
- Strong Hemodynamic background
- Sound understanding of cardiology department workflow
- Cardiac Echo and/or Nuclear Medicine experience will be a plus
- Familiarity of document/registry standards and credentialing such as JCAHO, NCDR, STS, ICAEL, ICAVL, And ICANL
- Knowledge of medical communication protocols is a plus (DICOM/HL7/XML)
- Strong background in Cardiovascular Health Care Services (Cath Lab, Echo sonography, and/or Nuclear Medicine)
- Experience with Medical Imaging
- Knowledge of databases
- Informatics and/o r Enterprise-class Information Systems will be a plus
- Intermediate IT skills
- Strong understanding of Clinical Environment and Health Care Operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in an understandable manner
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Presentation and Training abilities to a wide variety of audiences
- Demonstrate the confidence in the ability to articulate recommendations to the customer

- RCIS, RN, or RTR with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience are preferred
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Informatics, Computer Science, and/or Health Sciences will be a plus
