TITLE: 11503 LOCATION: New York City, New York
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Cisco VoIP Engineer will assist with the following: design, build and support of the corporate telephony infrastructure. This infrastructure includes 65+ locations. Background on the environment: primarily comprised of Nortel PBX with plans for aggressive expansion of users and an upcoming deployment.
Interested? The right person for this position requires strong telephony network troubleshooting skills that are balanced with interpersonal capabilities. As a member of this team, support is provided 24 x 7 for the enterprise.
Minimum Requirements
. 5+ years of Cisco telephony experience
. Expertise includes managing supporting medium to large financial organizations (1000 + employees); prior trading turret experience a must
. Experience deploying managing high availability CUCM/Uni ty environments, SRST, voice gateways and dial plans
. Strong VoIP protocols H323, MGCP QSIQ
. Strong understanding of a network infrastructure familiarity with congestion avoidance techniques to ensure high voice quality
. Experience with 24 X 7 support
. Bachelor's Degree required.
. Preferred Certifications: CCNP Voice.
Support and Maintenance
. Assist in the design and implementation of a high availability CUCM/Unity deployment
. Perform telephony moves/adds/changes as required
