Our client is seeking a Computer/PC Technician for a 12 month contract in the Atlanta area.

Computer/PC Technician Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance (both reactive and preventive) and project suppor t on the voice, data and telecommunications transport networks.
Installing standard, endorsed or certified off the shelf software and/or hardware devices, and provide minimal onsite training to get the client started.
Participating in on-call procedures/operations.
Interfacing with customers and other IT groups, including executives and vendors associated with the Field Operations function as appropriate, related to problems and installations as appropriate and maintaining accurate circuit and equipment inventories and documentation of assigned sites.
Requirements:
3 + years of desktop/laptop technician experience.
Understanding of the various topologies, eg telecommunications, wireless, data and voice networks and how they interface with each other.
Ability to logically troubleshoot and repair hardware and software associated with personal computers, peripheral devices, voice systems, data networks, telecommunications systems and ancillary equipment.
Knowledge of voice and data wireless systems and troubleshooting techniques, knowledge of data communications and packet switch networks and knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and associated peripheral and software components.
Must have demonstrated personal computer skills along with a general understanding of corporate applications and standard desktop products, ability to work independently, self-starter with good time management skills.
