Generic role includes ability to enter alpha/numeric, or symbolic data into various programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entry. Compares data entered with source documents. Makes necessary corrections to information entered. Files or routes source documents after entry. Ability to manipulate existing data, edit current information, or proofread new entries to a database for accuracy. Quality Assurance Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data entered. Responds to inquiries regarding entered data. Communicate plans and information with customers.
More specific duties include:
Plan and coordinte outages with customers (requires strong communication skills).
Perform service lateral credit reviews refund customers appropriately - check GIS to confirm service activation CSS for billing account information, notify Miscellaneous Billing when refunds are required
Review deposits/Letters of Credit and refund or reduce accordingly - check G IS to confirm service activation CSS for billing account information, contact banks customers as needed, notify Miscellaneous billing when deposit refunds are required
Update maintain URD database - ensure all information in the database is accurate and complete
Maintain URD files
Skills:5 - 8 years experience Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and high proficiency in data entry (10,000 ksph minimum). Proficiency in typing and advanced computer skills in MS Excel PC skills, data entry accuracy, and Graphical Interface Systems a plus.
