Job Responsibilities:
- The incumbent in this position is an experienced Web Application Developer responsible for support of existing systems and for developing new medium to high complexity web software at all 3 tiers of the application.
- He/she will take technical ownership of small projects and see them through to completion.
- He/she will work at times independently and at times on teams to build Web applications of various sizes and complexities using a variety of latest technologies and techniques.
- He/she will evaluate and recommend alternative approaches to the needs of each application.
Job Qualifications:
- Database design and implementation (SQL, Oracle).
- Full life-cycle development.
- MCSD certification with a s pecialization in Internet development.
- Hands-on experience with any of the following is a definite plus:
- At least three years of experience with Web application design, specification and development, including HTML and client-and server-side scripting.
- 3-tier application development using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net, Active Server Pages, COM, DCOM or COM+. Oracle and/or SQL Server stored procedures.
- Good organization and communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
