Description:

Currently seeking a skilled professional for pre-sales design and post-sales delivery of technology solutions in a consultative role. The technologies and skills required for this position will include networking and Mitel's Unified Communications (UC) product suite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Sales team to design solutions and prepare project proposals including bill of materials, professional services estimates, and Statement of Work.
Implement and deliver solutions as a hands-on project engineer.
Provide consulting services, including assessments, recommendations, and presentation of solutions.
Support and mentor fellow engineers.
Maintain and develop relationships with clients and strategic partners.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies
Maintain technical certifications as required.
Work in a team and communicate effectively.
Required Technical and Work Experience:
5+ years hands on experience planning, designing, and implementing Mitel 3300 ICP and Communications Director (MCD) in multi-site environments.
Hands on experience planning, designing, and implementing Mitel application suite (MAS) with the following applications:
o NuPoint
o Audio and Web Conferencing
o UC Mobile
o Border Gateway or Teleworker
Expertise using Mitel tools to develop a project Bill of Materials, including proper software licensing.
Experience and knowledge of the SIP protocol for external trunking and line side operation.
Hands on experience configuring network devices to integrate with Mitel UC products and software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills .
Desired Technical and Work Experience:
Experience with Contact Center solutions from PrairieFyre and Mitel.
Experience with Mitel Unified Communicator Express and Advanced applications.
Experience with networking devices from AdTran, Cisco and HP Networking.
Experience with SIP gateway devices from EdgeWater Networks and Ingate Systems.
Knowledge of quality of service (QoS) options and configuration.
Prior consulting experience is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with a technology vendor or systems integrator.
Required Skills and Knowledge: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
Four-year college degree.
Professional certifications, such as: Cisco CCNA, Mitel MCD, a nd Mitel MAS.
Interpersonal skills: communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
Skills in diagnosing technical issues
Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
