IT Business Analyst, Atlanta Georgia, Dependent upon education and expereience, Contract

Great organization is seeking a long term contractor to fill the role of Business Analyst. In this position you will be accountable for gathering requirements

and quality control of the next generation Business Intelligence applications

for both Web and Mobile platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform functions of IT Business Analyst in a SCRUM environment including requirement gathering, translation, project coordination, etc.

Perform quality control function and also have experience with basic SQL queries

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required

5+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Project Coordinator

Minimum 3 years of relevant development life cycle experience as an Agile Business Analyst, developing web and mobile applications

Facilitate and manage monthly agile development sprint planning meetings

Document new features, requirements, and strategies as user stories and acceptance criteria

Work with business owners to prioritize feature development, based on business value

Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications

Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical members of the organization including senior management

Strong customer service approach when working with business and technical partners

Preferred

Agile and Scrum training is a plus

Scrum and PMP certification
