Systems Engineer
At CGI, we deliver a full suite of health IT solutions that improve the health industry. Our solutions reduce operating costs, advance the quality of care, and promote public health with an emphasis on electronic medical records (EMR), health information exchange (HIE), quality initiatives and operational efficiency improvements. CGI is currently looking for Public Health professionals in our Atlanta, GA, office to join an exciting project team that will work with the CDC to maintain, develop and enhance IT systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Analyzing system information requirements and design specification
- Design system architectures and/or security
- Analyze and develop correctiv e actions for problems of workloads, organization and planning
- Prepare required system documentation including project plans, interface documents, program level and user level documentation
- Enhance system designs to improve performance and better satisfy customer requirements
- Solid knowledge of operating systems,
- Provides installation, maintenance and support of specialized program and database software
- Ability to interface with customers, understand their needs and effectively resolve issues
- Strong analytical and listening skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS
- Prior experience with the CDC
