Willing to travel 100% (Monday through Friday) and live within 100 miles of Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Reston, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis and have a Bachelor's degree
Looking for candidates at most levels and must have extensive experience with virtualization, server, remoting technologies. Need someone with as many as the following technologies as possible: VMWare, Citrix, Windows, Linux, Terminal Servers, Cloud Computing, Desktop Virtualization. Would prefer from a professional services or consulting company, not looking for contractors. Manager levels must have other professional services experience, managing people, projects, ground virtualization. Stable job history and excellent soft skills needed for all levels.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Preferred Skills:
Some combination of the following skills:
o Virtualization and infrastructure architecture experience
o Designing and implementing virtu alization technologies
o Application/Database rationalization design/implementation - includes application migration/consolidation and database rationalization
o Storage Technologies (SAN/NAS) including Hardware Software (EMC/Network Appliance/Sun Storagetekl IBM/or HP EVA or Storageworks)
o ITIL concepts, in particular for Help Desk, Incident, and Problem Management
o Experience implementing and maintaining methodology.
o Asset Management (Experience with tools/process)
o Designing and implementing server solutions
Designing scalable server architectures for critical business systems
o Experience in project management and detailed technical planning
o Planning future server capacity
o Implementing disaster recovery processes and procedures
o Maintaining problem tracking and resolution at a detailed level for service requests
o Writing scripts for automation of tasks
