User Experience Prototyper, Jersey City, NJ, Contract

The User Experience Prototyper reports directly to the User Experience Senior Manager and serves in a key utility function, partnering with User Experience Leads to create and maintain simulated working prototypes of Financial Company prospect, client, and associate-facing digital platforms. This individual is responsible for translating wireframes, business requirements and design directions into prototypes that can be tested with end users and presented internally. This role requires an individual with a strong user-experience mindset and the necessary technical skills to execute and perfect design ideas in working code, constantly collaborating with and taking direction from interaction designers, user experience leads and visual designers on a cooperative, agency-like team. The prototyper brings the vision of the user experience team to life to a degree that makes it virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. Required Skills:

• Demonstra ted ability to create interactive prototypes that simulate functionality
• Full proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Must be proficient in object-oriented JavaScript coding techniques
• Experience with JavaScript libraries: jQuery a must, Dojo a plus
• Desire to stay on the cutting edge of technology, up-to-date with current trends in web development
• Must be self-motivated, client experience oriented and a strong team player
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, able to implement ideas down to a specification level
• Must present a positive, professional image
• Excellent project management skills; ability to plan, manage, and execute on simultaneous projects under tight deadlines in a collaborative, agency-like environment; must be able to drive project, debate merits of approach and work effectively with others
