CGI is currently looking for Public Health professionals in our Atlanta, GA, offices to join an exciting project team that will work to develop and enhance the IT systems.
Orion Rhapsody Developer - Job Description::
- Actively contribute as an expert or actual designer fo r ELR mapping.
- Coordinate design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements.
- Provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts for system changes and enhancements.
- Coordinate enhancements between business and IT
- Confirm that technical architecture will support all changes required by product enhancements.
- Effectively lead product tests and trials.
- Identify appropriate business examples to illustrate key concepts/features.
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team.
- Develop technical contingency plans as necessary.
- Apply specific expertise to ensure that products meet defined customer objectives.
- Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team.
- Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requir ed/Desired Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience
- Orion Rhapsody Required 3 Years
- Orion Symphonia Required 1 Year
- HL7 Required 3 Years, HL7 Certification desire at version 2.5 or 3.0
- Database experience is essential Oracle or MS SQL preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- PHIN Standards and Architecture Highly desired 2 Years
- Health Industry Vocabulary Highly desired 5 Years
- Health Interfaces Highly desired 3 Years
- Javascript Required 1 Years
- XML Required 1 Years
- Java Highly desired 1 Years
Prior government (state or federal) public helath experience desired
