At CGI, we deliver a full suite of health IT solutions that improve the health industry. Our solutions reduce operating costs, advance the quality of care, and promote public health with an emphasis on electronic medical records (EMR), health information exchange (HIE), quality initiatives and operational efficiency improvements. CGI is currently looking for Public Health professionals in our Atlanta, GA, office to join an exciting project team that will work with the CDC to maintain, develop and enhance IT systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Acts as a liaison between various CDC project teams, clients and vendors

- Responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentatio n and communication of business needs, objectives and requirements

- Active participation in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements based on business unit requests.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure products enhancements are built according to specification

- Develop and/or improve business processes

- Participate in planning sessions to improve program processes and procedures

- Provide expert knowledge and actively participate in program discussions and meetings

- Establish and maintain relationships ensuring that project related changes are communicated and understood within the organization.

-Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, questioning and listening skills

- Detail-oriented

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Time management skills with the ability to multi-task

- M inimum seven years of relevant experience and four years specialized experience developing comprehensive requirement for complex programs

DESIRED SKILLS

- Prior experience with the CDC
