Kforce Atlanta is seeking a self-motivated, .NET/SQL Developer. The position will be responsible for assisting in the design, development and support of internal data collection systems. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years experience with .NET as well as a strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and develop new applications
- Debug and enhance existing applications
- Understand and implement business requirements
- Participate in design discussions
- Work with managers or senior developers to provide development work estimates
- Create plans for and be involved in application releases
- Troubleshoot and identify solutions to production system issues
- Contribute to team initiatives and work constructively with other team members
- Recommend and implement new technologies under guidance
- Create design documentation u sing Microsoft Office suite (Word, Visio, etc.)
- C#.NET (3.5/4.0)
- Windows Forms
- Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL
- WCF and RESTful web services
- Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Passion for working with complex data
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects
- Strong customer service attitude
- Strong self-motivation but not afraid to ask for help
- Holds self and work to high standards
- 4 year degree in a technical discipline preferred
