Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Front End Web Applications Developer to become an indispensable part of a team that builds and supports highly scalable eCommerce websites for our high profile and world renowned clients. They are looking for an individual who are excited about new trends in development and technology and actively incorporate this enthusiasm into their roles.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Front End Developer will work with Project Managers, designers and other developers to transform layout templates into dynamic and functional websites while also continuously exploring new technologies and proactively offering creative input and direction to our overall processes.
- Architecting and designing Front End client and server code that can b e easily adapted to multiple solutions and projects.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, comparable education or job experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience developing with JavaScript including Ajax, HTML and CSS
- Excellent Knowledge of JavaScript toolkits such as JQuery, Dojo, Prototype, Scriptalicious or similar
- Good knowledge of at least one Java Front End framework such as Spring MVC, JSF, Struts or similar
- Flexibility and autonomy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective teamwork collaboration skills
Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- E-Commerce knowhow
- PHP/Zend
- HTML5 and CSS3
- Mobile web development
