Kforce is seeking a System Tester for a New York, New York client. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting system testing for a Real Time application and assist with the development and execution of test scenarios and scripts.
Over the period of engagement, the selected System Tester consultant will:
- Assist in the development of test scenarios and scripts for web, desktop, and mobile-based applications
- Assist in developing scenarios that will require testing for the various types of application criteria
- Assist in the development of system and user-acceptance testing plans
- Participate in the actual testing itself; executing the tests and documenting any issues or bugs that are identified as part of the testing
- Assist in developing reports that document the results of the system testing
- Follow-up on issues to ensure timely resolution
- Assist with other quality control measures < /ul>Mandatory Skills/Experience of the System Tester - Note that candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered:
- Strong experience in system testing large, distributed application implementations using manual and automated methods
- Proficiency with testing web, Windows, and mobile-based applications, particularly those that deal with transactions, work-flow, and reporting
- Must be skilled in developing test plans, test scenarios, and scripts for large implementations
- Good communication skills and experience with using bug/issue tracking software
- Working with automated testing tools including QTP
- Programming skills with VB.NET and C#.NET
- Experience with .NET applications
- Experience with Bug Track issue tracking software
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
