Job Specifics: J2EE/Web Programmer

Location: Totowa, NJ

Type: Full Time Permanent

Requirements:

• Certification or degree in programming/web development
• 2+ years experience of J2EE web development and programming web applications
• Experience with writing and debugging SQL queries, preferably PL/SQL
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, JSP/Servlet and JavaScript (Applets, itext, XML, RMI, Crystal Reports a plus)
• Able to create detailed documentation in relation to work being done
• Experience with Eclipse, Java 1.42, debugging code
• Oracle 10G Database configuration and maintenance
• Good understanding of Weblogic domain configuration
• Experience with both end user and server application installation and support
• Basic knowledge of Vbs Scripting and batch files
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Available to work occasional after hours and weekends
• Experience with Requirements Gathering to bridge information gaps via meetings, email, and phone
• Exposure to full SDLC specific to the development and support of Web Business Applications.
• Effective communication skills, position requires meetings and calls with clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and modify website using dynamic web application development
• Coding fixes and new software development
• Manage source version control issues
• Document web configuration on a routine basis
• Providing first line application and platform support, configuration management,
  operational changes and deploying updates to web sites delivered by the development teams
• Managing and supporting production and test systems to high levels of availability, performance and security
• Participating in both after hours and weekend support and deploying upgrades
• Enhancing established processes to ensure consistent and quality work
