We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our RD group at our Boston Office location. The Software Engineer will work in a dynamic environment focusing on the development and delivery of product for Care Advance Enterprise. The Software Engineer will analyze, design, program and test computer software programs and applications. The Software Engineer works closely with Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Quality Assurance to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, the Software Engineer produces, delivers and maintains application and system software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in all aspects of the software development process including application design, implementation, testi ng, and deployment
- Maintaining documentation of workflow and following the general guidelines of Object Oriented Programming practices and design patterns
- Developing Front End (UI) development using ASP.NET and C#
- Supporting production systems and resolving related issues promptly
- Mentoring and assisting other Software Engineers through the process
Required Skills:
- 6 plus years of experience working with software development
- Minimum of 4 years experience working with C# and Visual Studio 2008/2010
- Expertise in Object Oriented Programming techniques, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, AJAX, XML, XSLT, Web Services, Design Patterns, Test Driven Development and any unit testing framework(MS Tests)
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent technical background
- Team-oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks at once, and meet deadline
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a rel ated area
- Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance industry helpful
