Job Description:
As a Systems Analyst I for Morrison Healthcare Foodservice Division, you will report directly to the Director of Retail Solutions and will be a technical liaison between our accounts and our retail technology solutions including but not limited to:
POS, Residence choice, Bedside ordering, Inventory systems, labor management systems, etc.
Recipe to Succeed:
- The Analyst I will be a primary point of contact for the Director of Retail Solutions regarding technical support within the MHFS division
- Review support data and work with our vendors to identify opportunities for improvement
- Supporting Morrison Healthcare accounts in specific support opportunities and challenges will play a significant part in the Analyst I role
- Perform root cause analysis on support metrics
- Identify gaps in current support process and suggest/assist in implementing improvements in conjunction with the Director of Retail Solutions
- Supporting Morrison accounts in specific support opportunities and challenges will play a significant part in the Analyst I role
- Monitor alerts in the Morrison RMI tool (Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager) and follow-up/resolve issues relating to alerts
- System administration and configuration support
- Maintain POS Configuration and Database for MHFS accounts
- Assist in performing version upgrades
- At times, be able to work flexible hours (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM) in order to resolve System Network issues
- Assist in the vendor relationship with our technology partners
- Other ad hoc projects within Retail Technology as assigned
Necessary Ingredients:
- BS in Information Systems, or related field, is required
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Proven Customer Servi ce focus is required
- A total of 2 to 3 years of related experience in Information Technology/Technical Support Organization with a demonstrated record of advancement
- Food industry experience is preferred, must be able to quickly grasp support principles and practices
- Previous experience in a similar role within a Technical Support Organization is required
- Familiarity with PCI Standards is a preferred
- SQL 2005 2008 experience is preferred
- Windows Server 2003 2008 experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Dell Servers, IBM SurePOS or other POS hardware is recommended
- Exposure to Microsoft Systems Operations Manager is recommended
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency in basic computer Networking
- Proven experience with Project Management
- Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to set goals and objectives, and timelines to e fficiently meet tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional image.
- Up to 30% travel may be required
