Summary:

Our client is a leading provider of web-centric insurance technology solutions. They are looking for a true developer - someone who is collaborative, and innovative, and thinks of how a product works, and how to make it better. In this role the Enterprise .NET Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of their client's insurance software. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is extremely flexible. This person will work with our highly talented chief architect, team of developers, and project managers to exceed our clients' needs as well as further enhance our software functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing, implementation, and mainte nance of 100% web-based application. .NET 4.0 framework.
• Involved with heavy workflow and validating data. All projects will be implementation based.
• Partner with clients and go through a lengthy discovery process to fully understand each specific business objective, and configure solution to meet their needs.

Qualifications:

• Core knowledge of .NET based technologies including .NET, ASP, VBScript, .NET SDK, SQL and Web services and UI Design.
• Experience with Object Oriented technologies such as SOA/OOA/OOD, Design Patterns, and UML preferred.
• Strong SQL skills (2008, release 2) complex joins, tables, stored procedures, triggers. SQL Server preferred, but can be database agnostic as long as relational database. Ajax, Crystal Reports.
• Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed in complex environments and have a proven record of developing enterprise grade software.
• Must be dedicated to high quality software engineering and familiarity with full software development life cycle is required.
• Strong leadership and a powerful desire and ability to translate business needs into software solutions both in our product suite and in complex customer deployments.
• Technically savvy - Internet, CRM, or E-business experience a plus. (Javascript, Java, or XML/XSL. Data Migration, ETL, or Agile experience a plus!)
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and with small and/or remote teams.
• Comfortable with advanced techniques in software development and/or mathematics are also desired skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences and possess excellent organizational skills.
• Must archive a high level of customer satisfaction and exceed standard levels of performance.
• Soft Skills: Flexible, adaptable, collaborative, analytical, problem solvers, ethical, hardworking, smart and functional, critical thinking, fun.
• Advanced education such as Masters, PhD in Computer Science is highly preferred, but not required.
