Major financial firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical architect for their global services side.

Responsibilities:

Selection, set up and ownership of any application architecture tools required.

Ongoing governance of the solution from an application architecture perspective, including traceability of requirements:

Assistance with:

Business architecture-Business Use Case Modeling; Process Event, and State Modeling; Non Functional requirements.

Data architecture-Logical Data Model and Function/Entity Matrix; Data Flow and Interfaces.

Technical architecture-Technology requirements, standards and portfolio; functional placement and global deployment model.

Assist the lead architect and program manage in all activities, artifacts and deliverables.

Requirements

Exposure to the ETL tools and data warehousing.

Experience or knowledge of Client and Account reference data, and client onboarding.

Application Server configuration, Proxy and clustering, load balancing and performance tuning.

Business architect with at least 5 years of financial industry experience working on large scale, global technology.

Hands on with recent experience of personally creating artifacts and deliverables.

Client on boarding, investment banking, treasury and security services.

Experience of architect tools.

Experience with industry architecture methodology.

Experience of Know your client process and client reference data

Architect with over 7 years. of Java and J2EE and Business Rules experience.

Extensive architecture, design and full life cycle development experience.

Min of 5 years. of hands on experience with business analysis and in depth knowledge and experience of business rules modelling and model driven development.

Min of 3 years. of information architect and data modelling experience; Client onboarding and KYC/AML, J2EE and OO Design patterns.

In depth knowledge of Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate/IBATIS, Drools EJB, SQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Ajax.

Hands on experience with Weblogic, Apache and Tomcat, Oracle RAC 11gr2 and stored procedures.

Experience in governing large scale complex IT programmes.

Experience working on technology projects dealing with remote development teams or external vendors.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
