My Client is looking for a business analyst to represent the Information Technology ERP team in CRM and ERP business interactions. This position will be responsible for acting as the primary interface for ERP with a broad customer base including customer service managers, inside sales representatives and sales executives.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
- Represent the customer in ERP strategy discussions.
- Work with sales organizations across multiple business units to define short and long term plans for ERP projects.
- Act as the ERP expert in business decision making, including Sales, CRM, and Order-to-Cash related projects.
- Design solutions and improve processes in customer service, order processing and CRM.
- Develop effective, high ROI projects and manage projects through adoption and execution.
- Ensure timely and efficient project completion by working with internal ERP and external vendors .
- Manage the R12 Order-to-Cash portion of projects and ensure all the key stakeholders are involved in the design process.
- Take ownership of all ERP related sales organization issues, including new process definitions, metric reporting, and user training.
- Manage projects through the life cycle of implementing solutions by coordinating and communicating with teams.
QUALIFICATIONS: (education experience)
- Education: 4 Year-degree in Information Technology or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive BA experience in the sales domain of a discrete manufacturing industry; experience in medical device industry preferred.
- Specialized knowledge needed for performance of job: Experience with Oracle ERP, R12 experience preferred; strong skills and knowledge of Order-to-Cash Process, Shipping and Inventory Functions.
- Special Skills: Strong communication and p resentation skills; Ability to present complex technical ideas to non-technical stake holders; Ability to negotiate internally and externally; Ability to translate complex business requirements into process diagrams that can be used by ERP in designing a solution; Ability to interact with the sales and CS people and display a solid understanding of the metrics and incentives that drive the sales organization.
- Other: 25%-40% travel required.
