Our client is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager that will lead overall quality vision for their commercial lending software applications. This is a strategic, tactical and day to day management position working with the leadership of the product team within the organization to deliver innovative and world-class quality solutions. This role is in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Functions:
- Be responsible for quality of software-based solutions offered in traditional license and SaaS models
- Lead a QA Team to define processes, tools and metrics in alignment with the Agile/Scrum development process to deliver world-class solutions
- Automation is a major theme to improve product and team velocity
- Work with the leadership and stakeholders to deliver the product based on the product roadmap and vision
- Manage the entire product quality life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Develop a quality roadmap in alignment with the product roadmap
- Work closely with the product leadership team to deliver innovative, world-class enterprise wide business solutions
- Lead the vision of quality throughout the organization
- Implement quality into the current Scrum Agile process
- Develop a test plan and test strategy to support the quality objectives
- Develop quality metrics to measure quality in an Agile environment
- Be responsible for all aspects of product quality including performance, load and security testing
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, staff development, and performance management
- 10+ years of software quality assurance experience, preferably with Java web-based software products
- Experience with Enterprise-wide SaaS, Licensed ERP or BPM applications i s strongly preferred
- Working experience in a commercial software development environment and with set release cycles
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- 3+ years of experience implementing Agile testing strategy
- 3+ years of experience implementing successful automation strategy
- Hands-on experience with Open Source and Agile testing tools
- Strong knowledge of quality processes and standards
- Experience successfully implementing automation in an Agile environment
- Ability to communicate with all areas of the company
- Demonstrate extensive technical expertise and application of QA principles, concepts, and theories
- Ability to manage multiple products and service lines with domestic and off-shore staff in multiple locations
- Knowledgeable in technologies used by business enterprises
- A Bachelor's Degree or Computer Science/Software Engineering Degree or related work experiences will b e a strong plus
