JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary: Identifies detailed requirements from business users through interviews, documentation and facilitated working sessions for approved projects and enhancements. Leads team in analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs and to provide recommended solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

Acts as internal resource for the consultation to the business to provide expertise and possible solu tions to resolve business needs

Participates in strategic customer meetings to review, propose and/or evaluate new business opportunities that are designed to improve customer relationships, operating efficiencies and/or add business benefits

Manages work plans and timelines. Evaluates relative feedback and ROI to effectively prioritize projects. Evaluates project impact through consultation with the business, IT management. Partners with stakeholders and Business Enterprise Liaisons to identify necessary department resources to meet defined objectives

Creates process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components

Develops detailed design specifications for projects and enhancements

Designs and develops test plans (eg test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing in order to ensure the so lution meets the business requirements. Manages user acceptance testing with the business users

Performs system configuration and integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure original requirements are met and defined constraints are worked within

Manages necessary business changes/additions to the SAP or integrated third party system after testing is complete

Performs required documentation according to corporate standards (CSOPs, CFOR, etc.) and IT Best Practices and Operations Manuals (OM-IT)

Develops, maintains and provides technical expertise in order to transfer knowledge, and delivers knowledge transfer to appropriate personnel for skill development

QUALIFICATIONS:

Resident Expert in the Planview Project Management tool

Experience in Enterprise Project Management tools

Familiarity with user support and Planview ad ministration desired

Experience in report development tools such as Business Objects or Cognos

Ability to interpret and translate user requirements into a report design to meeting business informational needs and metrics

Must have hands on experience in SQL or PL/SQL programming languages

Experience in programming skills using technologies in any of the following is desired but not a must - Java, ASP.Net, C#, C/C++, HTML, XML etc.

Strong IT Business partnering skill set

Ability to understand and learn new systems and application platforms as this is an evolving role

Ability to troubleshoot software and systems with a focus on issues resolution and customer service
