Overview:

HM is currently seeking a Project Scheduler for pipeline construction project work in thejersey City, NJ. area, with possible future project assignments.  

 

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing logically linked resource-loaded schedules using MS-Project.  The scheduler will produce accurate project schedules, coordinate the deliverables associated with major projects, and will produce accurate updates of elements of the Scope of Work throughout the project cycle.  The scheduler will also work within a Matrix organization to compile all the deliverables needed to submit a compliant schedule.   

 

The scheduler will be scheduling and/or coordinating the integration of the schedules of large size projects in the range of $50M to $100M. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop logically linked resource-loaded schedules from project documents, contract documents and estimate sheets. Attention to detail including critical path analysis, work flow analysis, resource leveling and status reporting will be required.
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing all schedule and control activities on projects/programs assigned using Primavera Enterprise, version 6.0 and higher.
  • Interface with various internal and external stakeholders on project planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress reporting, etc.
  • Coordinate and report project/program performance to the project management, Regional Project Management Office (PMO) and executive team.
  • Represent project team in meetings with project stakeholders as required regarding project performance related to schedule and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with the HM Project Management Methodology (PMM) and associated scheduling and control standards.
  • Develop and implement scheduling guidelines.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed.
  • Support Henkels McCoy scheduling requirements - as necessary. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field preferred
  • MicroSoft Project experience (at least  5 years +) required
  • 3 + years experience in the construction industry, as a scheduler.
  • 1 + years in pipeline construction desired
  • Strong MS Project software skills required
  • Strong MS Excel software skills required
  • Scheduling experience on large projects required
