WAN Analyst, Duluth Georgia, DOE, Contract

Link Technologies is looking for a WAN Analyst as a full time employee for our client located in Duluth, GA.  We are looking for a candidate that requires little to NO supervision, driven, enthusiastic, detail oriented, multi-tasker, learns quickly, can adapt to client culture.

 

 

 

Position Summary:

 

 

Wide Area Network (WAN) Analyst will architect, design and implement solutions following ITS standards and senior engineer designs for corporate Wide Area Connection throughout the globe. The WAN environment supports manufacturing, office, and datacenter environments. Familiarity with Cisco Systems equipment and certification is a plus.

 

 

 

 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

 

Implement and maintain global corporate WAN services.

 

 

Provide 3rd level support of our environment.

 

 

The candidate will participate in a 24 x 7 support rotation (via pager/cell).

 

 

 

Basic Requirements:

 

 

4 year university degree, preferably related to Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of layer1/2/3 networking.

 

 

Exposure to IP routing Exposure to WAN interfaces and protocols.

 

 

Exposure to DHCP/DNS Preferred Requirements 2-4 years experience with Cisco WAN equipment. Experience with routing protocols 

 

 

EIGRP and BGP Experience with T1/E1/DS3/E3/ISDN/ATM/PPP/Serial CCNA or better certification.
