Kforce is seeking a Senior Testing Manager for a New York, New York client. The Senior Testing Manager will manage testing for counterparty credit risk portfolios or market risk portfolios of projects relating to corporate change initiatives that impact a single major business or function. 5 or more years of experience in test management (preferred).

Projects Have:

• Major influence on the quality and timeliness of products or services or impact the financial performance of the business unit
• Required cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence, and negotiation

The Senior Testing Manager is responsible for analysing present-state of testing; developing alternative future-state testing approaches; and facilitating testing across the portfolio as well as managing relationships with numerous technology teams. Actively be involved in the conduct/execution of project testing activities and have actual staffing, performance man agement, and compensation decision-making responsibilities for a Team. Typically, the Senior Testing Manager has responsibility for project testing staff and budgets and serves as a primary contact to Senior Department Managers and Senior Technology Managers for critical testing efforts.

Specific Functions:

• Review requirements and create test plans and test scripts
• Estimate testing efforts
• Create and document artifacts; test plans, scripts, and testing reports (for management)
• Automate scenarios using automation tools
• Provide JIRA/Quality Center technical leadership and mentorship within the organization
• Execute test scripts manually and use automated tools
• Track defects; coordinate defect management and remediation with Developers; and maintain quality metrics
• Ensure GUI standards, guidelines, and development process standards are adhered to by the Development Team
• Assist users duri ng User Acceptance Test (UAT)
• Deep product knowledge of bank processes
• Expertise with technology proje

The successful Test Manager applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):

• Deep product knowledge of Capital Markets space for Counterparty Credit products or Market Risk principals

Project:

• Experience managing and/or working on enterprise level testing efforts using a defined project methodology; creating project deliverables and using standard project management tools such as Clarity
• Project experience with technology projects involving change to data warehouses and experience with projects involving change to line of business policies and procedure

Technology:

• Knowledge of Bank technology systems and process supporting Traded Products systems, data warehouses, Consumer/Wholesale systems, rating agency data, etc.
