Kforce is seeking a Desktop Engineer, Windows Migration Analyst with prerequisite of: Windows 7 and OS Migration. Our client is in Summit, New Jersey.
Summary:
- Provide technical assistance in the construction and maintenance of a corporate standard desktop, laptop, and mobile image
- Be responsible for desktop and mobile device hardware and image engineering for a global enterprise environment
- Work on the Windows XP to Windows 7 Migration
- This Desktop Engineer will provide technical design and support for global images and system management infrastructure
- Assist in the planning and implementation of remote software deployment to customer's desktop computers via Altiris and/or SCCM deployment services client management tools with minimal disruption to the customer
- Coordinate training
- Altiris software deployment
- Operating System Migration
- Windows Dep loyment Services
- Communication and end user technical support/satisfaction experience
- Windows XP/Windows 7 knowledge
