Mainframe Programmer
Candidate should have the ability to support and maintain Mainframe application processes throughout the project life cycle: Research/Analysis, Design, Development, Test, Documentation, Implementation, Monitoring, as well as for ongoing maintenance and support.
Position requires sound decision making and organizational skills, critical thinking, multitasking abilities, sense of urgency in accurate and timely delivery assignments, and flexibility. Must be willing to support 24x7 applications, working in a team environment. Effective communications with peers, management, and across lines of business is essential.
Requirements:
5+ years of COBOL and CICS Mainframe programming experience in an IBM z/OS Mainframe environment.
COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, IAM, and MVS JCL experience is required.
Experience with TSO, Endeavor and MQ is preferred.
File Aid, Abend Aid, Lotus Notes and MS Office are additional preferred skills.
