The Java Developer role in Atlanta, Georgia will have the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Develop Java, Ruby, and SQL based software applications
- Be involved in the development and maintenance of highly complex financial oriented software and related applications
- Passionately adopt automated unit testing as part of regular development activities
- Adopt and follow the prescribed processes of the development organization
- Work well in a team environment

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 3-5+ years of software development experience on the Java/SQL platform
- Good understanding of Object Oriented programming and design patterns
- Ability and desire to l earn and adopt new technologies as and when required
- Java skills
- Spring, Hibernate, and SQL skills
- Knowledge of and experience with agile practices like agile design, TDD, Kanban, and Scrum
- Knowledge of and/or experience with web technologies like JavaScript, HTML CSS, etc. is a big plus
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Ruby on Rails is a big plus
- Experience in financial software industry
