Announcing a potentially long-term assignment for a Voice and Data Network Engineer in midtown Atlanta. In this position, you will support our customer's Network Management Systems as well as support a large enterprise Network.
The successful candidate will be become a member of our customer's Network Operations team. Primary responsibility will be the day-to-day support of the Data, VoIP, and Signals running across our customer's Network. You will be expected to analyze complicated systems, document application standards, and assure high levels of stability, reliability, and availability of the production network environment, consistent with established change control policies and prescribed procedures.
You will be expected to work anytime that the need arises and must be willing to work rotating shifts 24/7/365
Required Skills:
- 10 years hands-on experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Content Switches, Firewalls
- Five Ye ars hands-on experience with VoIP, Multicast, AAA, CIP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, frame-relay, TACACS, DNS, DHCP
- Two Years hands-on experience with Network Management Systems such as NNMI, IP, NA, OO, CiscoWorks, CNR, or related systems
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus
Desired Skills:
- 4-year College Degree desired, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- Workingknowledgeof Legacy systems
- Automation
- Avaya PBX
