Senior System Administrator, Braintree, MA, Permanent

Kforce is seeking a Senior System Administrator for a Braintree, Massachusetts client that will manage the Storage/SAN, and Server infrastructure.

Specific Functions:

• Manage and configure EMC Clarion, VNX, and Celerra as well as Cisco MDS Switches
• Establish SAN architecture to ensure high availability of data and services internally and external to our clients
• Manage and administer Active Directory (Windows Servers) and Linux Red Hat environments
• Develop, deploy, and manage platforms to support our client's Web Servers using Microsoft IIS
• Manage and maintain our VMware environment
• Architect and design our client's IT Disaster Recovery Plan
• Perform system implementations and upgrades that may occur after normal business hours and/or on weekends as required

The successful Senior System Administrator applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise) :

• A BS Degree is required
• 7+ years of experience in systems, server, and network administration in a Windows/Linux environment
• Must possess hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, administering, and upgrading or working with a migration of the following: EMC Clarion; Cisco MDS Fiber Channel Switches; and Windows Servers 2000, 2003, and 2008
• Active Directory
• Virtual environments including VMware
• Maintain system availability to 99.99%
• Utilize a strong customer and sales focus
• Industry Certifications are highly desired
