Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for desktop operating system, applications, and documentation
- Responsible for 3rd level ticket resolution and customer service
- Responsible for evaluating, testing, and deploying all client facing applications
- Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting of laptop/desktop issues
- Responsible for all laptop, desktop, and server, imaging
- Responsible for deployment of all new laptop/desktop operating system
- Responsible for all laptop, desktop, and server software inventory
- Responsible for testing of all new laptop/desktop hardware
- Responsible for maintaining web browser compatibility and standards
- Responsible for Active Directory Group Policy deployment and modification
- Responsible for critical desktop and server patching/updates
- Responsible for antivirus monitoring, maintenance, and updates
- Responsible for client level Firewall monitoring, maintenance, and updates
- Responsible for client level backups, monitoring, and documentation
Education:
- BS degree in Information Systems
Experience:
- 5+ years experience evaluating and managing end-user services
- 5+ years experience deploying desktop applications in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience working with SMS 2003 and SCCM 2007
- Experience imaging and supporting Windows operating systems
- Experience with quality assurance of PC images and software deployments
- Experience with desktop management tools and concepts
- Strong knowledge of Lenovo/Dell (Wintel based) desktop hardware
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications
- Hands on knowledge of Windows Server 200x and related technologies
- Hands on experience with MS Offi ce 20xx configuration and applications
- Working knowledge of Active Directory in a multi-domain forest a plus
- Previous experience working flexible hours and on call 365x24x7
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills
- Software packaging a strong plus
- Window Scripting a plus

Travel:
- Periodic international and domestic US travel will be required
Other:
- Experience working in a consulting like business
- Exposure to multiple levels of internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley) as well as having worked in a change control environment.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain positive business results through influence, determination, and relationship-building
