The SAP FICO Business Analyst in Secaucus, New Jersey will work with Finance business units to develop solutions, support production applications and review new applications to support finance community. The FICO BA must know how to leverage SAP to support best practices with proven understanding of process integration within MM, SD, PP, HCM, FI and CO areas.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides business analysis and process redesign expertise in SAP-FICO functions and processes
- SAP configuration, implementation and support in an ECC 6.0 environment
- Configure SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design
- Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows
- Support peripheral systems and interfaces related to Finance business
- Design and execute test plans to ensure that business requirements and functio nal specifications are implemented properly and meet business objectives
- Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts
- Communicate SAP capabilities/possibilities within functional modules
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on support experience in an SAP 4.7 or higher environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP FICO support and development including GL, AR, AP, Taxes, Cost, and Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Special Purpose Ledgers, Fixed Assets, and BW Reporting
- Familiar with the integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, HCM, and POSDM)
- Broad understanding of SAP from a technical and functional perspective
- Experience with SAP ERP Retail is highly desirable
- Expertise wi th SAP HCM configuration is a plus
- Strong understanding of all aspects of the SAP implementation life cycle and solid grasp of the ASAP Methodology
