Our client, located in Secaucus, New Jersey, is seeking a Director, Business Analysis. The Director of Business Analysis serves as a team lead in planning, testing, and configuration of applications supporting Consumer Direct and Wholesale Channels. The individual will interface with business partners to provide direct support and ensure business processes are appropriately supported by core systems. The Director of Business Analysis will liaise with the development and technology teams in support of the above responsibilities. Application focus for this role will be SAP with further responsibilities in other business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with business partners and technology teams to support core business applications
• Maintain a strong partnership with business owners to understand detailed requirements and business processes
• Collaborate with technology teams supporting SAP solutions utilized to execute key business activities
• Provide first-level SAP support and expertise for business channels
• Continuous applications support including ongoing maintenance and system upgrades

Business Process Analysis:

• Work with systems analysts and business partners in analysing and resolving production issues
• Perform analytical activities of current/proposed processes, supporting the delivery of Continuous Business Improvements
• Write functional specifications and provide leadership/coordination in the design of reports, forms, interfaces, custom programs, and conversions

Business Systems Software Configuration:

• Be responsible for applications configuration and mentoring team members responsible for configuration

Application Testing:

• Develop and coordinate key test plans including unit testing, system integration/regression testing, and user acceptance testing for system changes affected through configuration and/or development

The successful applicant will possess working knowledge of SAP's ECC functionality and configuration in the following areas:

• Materials Management (Required)
• Procure to Pay (Required)
• SAP Retail/AFS - Industry Solutions (Highly Desirable)
• BW/Business Objects (Highly Desirable)
• Sales and Distribution (Desirable)
• Pricing/POS (Desirable)
• Financials (Desirable)

The following skills, knowledge and experience are also required for this position unless noted otherwise:

• BS/BA Degree in a business related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of business experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience working with SAP in a functional/analytical role
• Minimum 3 years of managing functional teams
• Retail/Apparel and Footwear experience is highly desirable
• JDA Arthur/Merchandise Planning is desirable
• Just Enough Demand Plannin g and Allocations is desirable
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written
• Capable of effective communication with business partners and other members of the IT Team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
