Our client, a major electronic commerce company located in New York City, NY, is seeking an Operations Analyst to be a part of the payment team.
Responsibilities:
- Daily payment processing for customers in multiple currencies
- Reconciliation of payment transactions to General Ledger and investigation of differences
- Generate daily cash proof package
- Research and resolve pending payment items between customer and bank accounts
- Identify unusual transactional activity and support customer inquiries
- Research and timely resolution payment investigations ( internal or bank initiated)
- Generate daily and monthly customer reporting
- Provide solid customer support on payment related transactions
- Daily interaction with customer support teams to resolve customer inquires
- Participate in UAT testing for platform releases
- 3-5 years of banking operations, acc ounting, or cash reconciliation experience
- Work well under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Solid customer service and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills, proficient and productive in an Internet environment, ability to download and merge files are all required
- Proficient use of Excel, Access, and Word, including knowledge of formulas and pivot tables
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
- Solid attention to detail
