Exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team working within a Front Office team of a forward thinking Investment Bank. The successful Java Developer will be working closely with the Traders building Front Office Web Orientated Trading Applications in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Javascript and SQL Server.
The successful candidate will be working in the New Projects team responsible for the FLCD involved with the analysis, design, programming and unit testing of software enhancements as well as supporting the Trade Applications and settlements systems.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree qualified from a Top Tier University in Computer Science/Finance related field
- Strong technical skills in Java/J2EE, Servlets, JSP, HTTP/CSS
- Javascript and frameworks
- XML technologies including XSD and XSLT
- Wind ows Perl Scripting
- Experience working within a Front Office environment and knowledge of Trading ans Settlements.
- Ideally experience and/or knowledge of Equities or experience within a Brokerage.Â
