Interactive Producer, Boston, MA, Contract

Working in client Communications and Advertising's Interactive group in Boston, Massachusetts, the Interactive Producer is responsible for developing and managing online projects on behalf of clients through client's marketing organization - ranging from B2C, B2B, and internal communications. Projects range from web-based client communications and online advertising to web site initiatives and interactive engagement tools such as quizzes and calculators.

Interactive Producer Responsibilities:

  • Project-level client management, including developing creative briefs, writing project specifications, stakeholder management, coordinating reviews, and serving as liaison between the clients and internal creative teams
  • In-depth project management, including developing schedules and estimates, tracking deliverables, managing budget, and coordinating with other business units or outside vendors for project launch
  • Manage client expectations, internal teams on projects, and communicate project level updates to management and cross-departmental stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project schedules; negotiate with internal teams for resource availability and timing; work with client to understand drivers of dates; update schedules as necessary and utilize creativity to accommodate unexpected challenges
  • Develop project estimates at kickoff; carefully track scope to budget and update estimates if project needs change
  • Partner with clients to define project requirements; write creative briefs that synthesize input into a format that the creative team can respond to; help clients find creative solutions to technical or user-behavior challenges
The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in client and project management
  • An interest in and understanding of the online medium
  • E xcellent people skills and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Financial services experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Working knowledge of financial services industry and/or client products and services
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong working relationships and teamwork
